Butler
For those committed to perfection, there is simply no other way to serve tea. This time honored tradition defines grace and hospitality.
Butler style tea service conveys the ultimate in traditional luxury. Staff presents your guest with an individual prepared pot of tea. Premier Service calls for the server to steep the tea 'back of the house', although this step can be transferred to your guest.
Teapots can be formal silver, contemporary stainless steel, classic ceramic, or the versatile French style tea press. With Premier Service, staff places one generous teaspoon per cup into the pot, and pours fresh boiling water over the leaves. The tea is steeped 3 to 5 minutes (depending on the type of tea), the infuser is removed, and the tea is served.
As an alternative, your staff places the tea in the pot or French press, pours boiling water over the leaves, and serves the guest immediately with the caveat . . . "I have just poured your tea . . . I recommend that you let it steep for about 3 to 4 minutes."
White Lion Loose Teas are packaged in attractive and convenient 1 lb plastic canisters for 'back of the house' or 'back bar' use in restaurant or spa.
We offer the same selection of fine teas uniquely packaged in a rich 4 oz glass canister, perfect for gift or as a personal treat.
Charming 1 oz jars are used as "display" to tempt and engage your guest in the luxury of a loose leaf tea experience. These irresistible little jars are also packages in retail sets or gift format to further delight your guest. They can be tamper sealed and labeled for use as an exclusive in room amenity, mini bar item, or promotional item.
We highly recomment cross merchandising to fully maximize the value and impact of your tea program. Keep in mind that all loose leaf teas and related merchandise are available for Private Label.

Best used in the most exclusive settings. Best style tea pot may be used . . . formal silver, traditional ceramic, Asian, or contemporary. The tea is measured and steeped entirely 'back of the house' or 'back bar' by the staff, and served to the guest in a ready to pour format. The attendant places one generous teaspoon per cup into an infuser, pours boiling water over the leaves, and steeps 3 to 5 minutes. We recommend using a timer to avoid over steeping. Remove the infuser, and serve . . .
This Style embellishes the ultimate in pampered luxury. It is difficult to duplicate the overall value of this experience, especially when individual service cost is considered.
Guest controls steeping
Works very well with the tea press. Staff places 1 tablespoon of tea into a 2 cup press. Adds boiling water, andplaces the plunger lid on press. Tea press is presented to your guest with instruction to depress the plunger after the tea has steeped 3 to 5 minutes. The plunger pushes the leaves to the reservoir below.
This style allows your guest to watch the leaves unfold as the tea is steeping, and offers the added grace of not removing a wet and dripping infuser at the table.
There is less attention required by the staff because your guest monitors his or her own steeping.
This style offers maximum impact with minimum staff effort.
Barista
This program is designed to impress even the most discerning guest, yet operations are very staff friendly. Your staff or guest member prepares a personal loose leaf experience for a single serve cup.
Barista Service 'raises the bar' in the cafe setting to parallel that of specialty coffee beverages. This is the perfect way to add sizzle and value to individual servings of tea that would otherwise fall prey to an ordinary tea bag.
Self Serve presentations are perfect in Spa Relaxation ares. The display exudes hospitality and health along with indulgence and luxury. Guests appreciate the quality of loose tea as part of the total spa allure, and enjoy the sensory pleasure of a 'hands on' experience. Definitely a step up from the kitchen pantry!
Barista style calls for a Barista, or beverage to prepare the individual loose leaf tea bag on behalf of the guest. In a Self-Serve Style, teas are arranged in a 'buffet' format that invites your guest to create an individual or self-serve 'tea bag'
.
Tea sacks are the preferred infusion solutions. They are easy to use, and disposable. With equal poise in both fine china and paper cup, they combine the luxury of a loose tea with the convenience of a tea bag. The recipe is easy . . . use one teaspoon per cup, and steep 3 to 5 minutes. Our "pictorial instruction" guides your guest.
Use glass canisters so that the quality and beauty of the blends are visible. We provide signage on the canisters to indicate the name of the blend and ingredients. Provide a long handled spoon for each blend offered. We have several options available.
