Aubrey Franklin can best be described as the Colonel Sanders of Tea. He is the Tea Ambassador, and for over 25 years was spokesman for the Tea Council of the United States.
As the author of two books on tea, the second currently in revision, he has made personal appearances across America on national television and radio. His passion for tea has been instrumental in the increasing popularity of tea in America.
Today, with his far-reaching reputation as a leader and legend in the tea industry, the affable gentleman has combined efforts with Kathryn Petty in launching Sir Aubrey's Tea Company. Aubrey Franklin was born and raised in London. During WWII, he served as an officer in the Queen's Royal Fusiliers and with General Montgomery in North Africa. As both correspondent and photographer, he filmed the acclaimed "Desert Victory." Later he was associated with 20th Century Fox in England. The charming Aubrey has lived in Paris, Brussels, Italy, India and Hong Kong, and currently has a home in Scottsdale, Arizona, when he is not traveling around the country promoting the attributes of tea.
